Ceramic Tile Inlaid in a Wood Floor

The original French door leaked water and the result was a ruined wood floor. The French door was replaced with a slider.  While the floor could have been repaired, the homeowner opted to prevent a recurrence by replacing the damaged area with a ceramic tile inlay. The homeowner had some tile left over from the kitchen, and opted for Laticrete epoxy grout to insure many year of maintenance free beauty. Below, the floor before.
